Call Waiting

This feature lets you know someone else is calling while you are using your phone.

To use Call Waiting:

1. If you hear a beep and want to end the first call, hang up. Your telephone will immediately ring with the second call.
2. To answer a second call, press and release receiver button (or flash button) for a half second. The first call will be put on “hold”, and you will be connected to the second call.
3. To return to the first call, press and release receiver button (or flash button). You may switch back as often as you like.

To end Call Waiting:

1. End one conversation by waiting for the caller to hang up. You will be automatically and immediately reconnected to your other call.
2. End both conversations by hanging up your phone.

To temporarily cancel Call Waiting before placing a call:

1. Dial *70.
2. Listen for second dial tone.
3. Dial the number you want to reach.

To temporarily cancel Call Waiting while a call is in progress, you must be subscribed to Call Waiting and Three Way calling:

1. Press receiver button (or flash button) for a half second to put call on hold.
2. Listen for dial tone.
3. Dial *70.
4. Press receiver button (or flash button) for a half second to return to original call.

*NOTE: You cannot cancel Call Waiting while a call is in progress and a third party is trying to reach you. If a third caller tries to reach you while someone is already on hold,you will not hear a tone. The third caller will get a busy signal. Call waiting automatically reactivates when you hang up.
